Windows won't install

Is your keyboard a US or UK keyboard? Did you select the correct keyboard during installation?

Out of wack how?
Most of the buttons didn't register at all and those that did where totally random (e.g. typing h produced 7). Anyway, was an easy fix. Went to device manager, deleted the keyboards and restarted. All good again now.

I do now have this curious case of an unallocated 32GB drive/partition floating around. A part of me is saying to just leave it, the machine is working. The other part of me is irked by the anomaly.

You trying to dual boot? I may be wrong but doesn't windows like to be installed first?
I did Xubuntu first and then Windows 11.

Worked out really well. I change from default Windows to Xubuntu by pressing F9 at boot.

I can also make Xubuntu default in the BIOS.

No boot menus.
