Just logged into jmpd.paymyfines.co.za and found that I have R4500 worth of unpaid fines between 2010-2011

My guy that deals with these things is no longer available so if anyone knows anyone that knows anyone that knows someone... ;) ;)

We wonder why corruption is so high.

Go pay them bro, simple and easy.

It's a "monkey see monkey do" situation and it bleeds through to the public because they get tired of being upstanding citizens when their pockets are fleeced by an inept government.

For example, e-toll. I'm fine with it, but then take away the levy added to the petrol price for the RAF and/or the maintenance of the roads. Would have a huge impact on food prices if they did, but hey, let's get some more money, our staff needs pension funds...

Setup a sting operation, someone pm abzo the details of a cop. Then catch him trying to bribe his way out of the tickets :D

Awesome!!!!!!!

I'll have you know that i've never paid a bribe in my life! I am an upstanding member of this country and I'm appalled by the accusations in this thread! How dare you! The assumptions made here are nothing short of slander.

Abzo invest in a gps like tomtom or garmin. They alert you to all fine spots. Also when you see a camera sign below the speed limit slow down.

Works pretty well, speed when you can and drive slow when you need to :D.

Maybe your guy was (deservedly?) fired.
He wasn't fired, in fact he moved up the ranks and is now in a different department. We've lost touch, I don't want to be that guy who contacts you only when he needs something.

Well then why don't you just pay the fines?
Matter of principle, Pooky.

I have one, it warns me. I haven't had a fine in over a year. Those fines are from 2010-2011, they were necessary at the time.

Well if they were necessary then paying them should feel good.

Go in, pay fines and all will be solved. Hope they have not issued an arrest warrant, hope there are no further penalties and blah blah.

Silly to let fines sit for so long even if you have a connection who can help.

Are you not supposed to get a 50% discount if you pay them? Or something like that.

Well I didn't know I had these fines until yesterday when I got an SMS to inform me.
