Every single day of my life, I apply body cream after a bath/shower.

In winter, it just does not seem to help. My skin feels itchy! I even use Neutrogena Body Oil on occassion but the results are more or less the same.

Maybe I turn into a reptile in winter :D

What are your winter skin tips?

Sometimes my skin is so dry, I can actually scratch on the word dry. :D

Ah...watching a woman do that stuff is so sexy.

Neutrogena Body Oil or whatever ftw!

aaah, thats why I dont miss those -6C mornings, maximum temps of 10C, Freezing my nads off - waiting 20 minutes for the car to warm up inside!!! Long live Durban weather - well what else do we have to be happy about, certianly not the Sharks !!

Also suffer from the winter dry skin syndrome. My skin care routine after showering is detailed :o

Rub dawn lotion over every inch of skin. Allow to dry. Repeat. Rub aqueos (sp?) cream all over skin. Rub body butter all over skin. Rub camphor cream all over skin.

This involved procedure is done twice daily

Anything less then that and my skin looks hideous :o

I like Heavenly pomegranate and vanilla bath oil that is the only thing that lasts until the morning them I apply vaseline intensive care while standing in the shower.

I bought their pomegranate body lotion in Upington once ! Love the smell, but it was not so effective for me. Creams (normally) work better.

I suggest taking a mudbath after which you wash it off in a pool of Icelandic icewater and then dry yourself with some handpicked moss from the forests of wherever the best moss grows.

Try bathing with a few squirts of Johnsons Baby Oil in your bath. But be careful, it can be slippery…..uuummm the bath that is. :D

starts crying// emo moment// sharks and *****y JHB weather:(

Bath with some oils, google the vitamins / minerals etc that help out the skin... I know oily fish is good for skin (eating it not applying to the skin)

 At what point do you tuck your sack back and slip on your knickers? :D

Stop being nasty to Shaun, he probably has some good tips there. It will take half an hour to do all that, though!!

Install a water softener - the kind that works with an exchange resin, regenerated by salt. They are expensive, but well worth it. I used to have the same problem (Bloemfontein winters are the worst!), now hardly need any moisturiser.

Nope. But feel free to add me to the mybb gay men's list :D:p

ok, fair enough.

but, still - isn't it a bit excessive?

  • dawn lotion, wait to dry
  • dawn lotion again, then
  • aqueos cream, then
  • body butter, then
  • camphor cream

all that 2 times per day?

why don't you just climb into one of those old metal scuba gear stuff that they have in bioshock, fill it up with all those creams and live in it 24/7? seems much easier too.....?
