I am currently finding myself in a bit of a pickle without Telkom infrastructure and ADSL in the residential complex where I am staying.
I have contacted a WISP, but what they are offering won't really suit my needs.
I would like to set up my own point-to-point link and provide internet to myself in this way.
Unfortunately the homes of my family who would be prepared to get the ADSL at their homes, don't have a clear LoS to where I am. So, I am looking for somebody in the Athlone/Surrey Estate area in Cape Town who would be willing to assist in this manner (i.e allow me to have my ADSL line at their house with a wireless antenna pointing in my direction).
Any assistance or referrals would be greatly appreciated.
