Wireless Internet (Best Option)

Can you believe this? My ISP read this posts and gave me notice that my service will be suspended as from the end of this month.

Funny, I didn't even mention their name in my posts.:rolleyes:

Maybe because they also know me as Piesang on their forums so now they think everybody knows that I uses their service.

Well, I'm glad to say that my ADSL connection will be running as from the 14th of December.:D ;)

One thing I'm not sure of is the fact that I paid a installation and admin fee. If I give notice then I should loose the admin fee. But if they give me notice then they should pay me back the admin fee? Am I wrong? I mean, I can't charge people starup fees for a service and then suspend their service and walk away with all the money can I?

Is that even legal? The fact you decided to go with ADSL is irrelevant as far as your contract is concerned. I'm sure you should get the admin fee back, you could probably sue them for breach of contract. :D

Unfortunately I didn't have a contract with them. It was on a month-to-month basis.;)

I think it's pathetic. I must say, the e-mail was very unprofessional. Didn't even get it on a business letterhead.:D As if I care.
 
I've send them a e-mail yesterday to ask them when they are coming to fetch their equipment. I didn't even got a reply.:rolleyes:

I don't know all the people working there but I came to the conclusion that it is more a buddy buddy type of WISP. If you do online gaming and support the community then you get "VIP" treatment. If you not one of the "buddies" then you are nothing.:sick:

Or your service get suspended.:D
 
I get the same on ADSL, doesn't matter where i MSN from or what TIER, IS, JOOJOONET, SAIX. it FAILS.

Hence I use googleTalk. MSN sucks.

I've been using ADSL now for 5 days and my MSN is up non-stop. Even using a Virgin Mobile sim in my MTN Data Card gives me 100% uptime with MSN.

Nope, the problem is with Wireless Internet.

I'll never go wireless again.:D ;)

Oh, almost forgot. I had the same problem with Google Talk as well when I was using Wireless Internet. Not anymore.
