I've contacted the following WISP's so far, any others I can try?

Amobia
This was my first choice, good pricing and also the best feedback so far, but they don't give public ip's on uncapped, which I need.

Cape Connect
Still waiting for installation costs from them. Feedback seems a bit slow.

Kawuzela
Good feedback, site survey hopefully end of next week.

Snowball
Seems good, bit more pricey, but first available date for site survey is end of the month.

We carried out a site survey last Friday at around the time this thread was started. There is no line of site to our nearest high site. Snowball share the tower with us, so they may or may not also be out of the running.

I've been connected to Kawuleza for the last week, 1mb uncapped. So far I'm very impressed with the speeds and support. :)

Speedtest...do you get a Private IP or Pubic?

Will do speedtest when I'm home again.

Private IP as standard, but public IP at a monthly fee, which Amobia couldn't (or didn't want to) give me.

Can't remember the exact price right now, but it was very reasonable. And you can take one at a time, I think. Unlike on ADSL, where you pay for 5, need them or not. They're busy changing their pricing though, supposed to be getting cheaper. /insider info.
Edit: Sorry, was talking about Kawuleza, in case anyone's confused.

Hi

Good to see those are all WAPA members, who are ICASA licenced and bound by our code of conduct :)

There may be other WAPA members who can assist. Fill in your details (contact, address/GPS co-ords) here: http://www.wapa.org.za/coverage/check-coverage and the members who service that area will contact you directly to arrange further.

try sonicwireless

Its nice to see that there are more and more WISPs coming about. The only thing is your price seems a bit steep in my opinion. R699 1MB uncapped + R1799 install fee (I know you can do 12 and 24 month payments)
I will give it to you that you do provide a dynamic IP which is what the OP wanted.
