Hello everyone. I have a Smc 7904 WBRA wireless router. However I do not have Adsl anymore. I am using 3G to connect to the net (for now) How can I connect my cell with the above router to share the internet over the wifi network? Anyone done this before? I have a idea or 2, but lets see what you chaps come up with.

depends what connectivity your phone has. if it's normal USB/bluetooth/IR, you can't connect it to the router directly of course, and if it's wireless lan then connecting your router to it client mode isnt going to help with sharing the connection wirelessly :P -- the only solutions in my eyes are:
1. get a linux router/pc with USB to do the work
2. share the connection on your PC, and then set the gateway on the router to point to your PC's IP. clients on the wireless network will then be able to access the internet as long as your PC is on and connected.

other option is to get a 3G router, such as the Linksys WRT54G3G

If you simply want to share your cell phone's net connection wirelessly have a look at Joikuspot. Its a symbian app that turns your cell phone into a wireless
'hotspot".
