Hey all
We've been using the mecer wireless modem to extend our connection to my wife's office about20 metres away. The signal was always mid-strength but recently it has dropped away to nothing and the laptop has to be brought into my office to connect. I do have a range amplifier, but I can't connect it to the modem as the aerial on the mecer seems to be attached to the body of the modem itself. It doesn't unscrew. I could maybe open up the modem and see if I can detach it to attach the range extender but I'm hesitant to do that in case I break it.
We have a new neighbor who also has wireless, and his connection pops up when we are asked to join networks. Could this be interfering with out connection?
