I love how you guys speak about burning, destruction as if there's been such.
Better leave that to us at UKZN. Our guys have mastered the art.

Since ShaunSA insists. So today I decided to actually JOIN the protest instead of watching from the sidelines (mostly because Adam Habib said he was gonna say hid piece). Define "animal" guys. First of all, the red shirts and hoodies people are seeing and are assuming is the EFF is actually the attention seeking Men's Res Raiders. So there was singing and singing and singing and more singing. Nobody was hurt. No property was destroyed. Prof Habib said he'd be here at 9, he goy here at 11. So the students were like, "We waited for him for 2 days. When he decides to come, he comes two hours late. Don't give him your attention"
The occupying buildings thing. "buildings", building: The Senate House. Which is where you go anyway when you have grievances. That's where everybody is now. Sitting and singing. Occasionally standing and singing to stretch the legs. It seems the idea is to end the protest today with a decision from the council on the matter. As we speak everyone is waiting for the chairperson of the council to fly from Durban. I love how you guys speak about burning, destruction as if there's been such.
Is graphiti violent? Who said anything about respectful. Hell, the Raiders were telling him "***** you, ***** you, ***** you riocity" can be read as "for cu..., for cu..., for curiosity". That tunnel is like a magnet to vandalism. They paint it one day and not long after that its back to what it is. Not a recent thing.

So what did your cohorts say about the police excessive force? Were there many bruises and broken limbs? Or is the police excess then also a figment of imagination, just like us taking the threats of ungovernability seriously are also imaginings?
And this guy is wearing one of those red EFF shirts.

You are either extremely gullible or lying.
Probably abit of both.
Prof Habib said he'd be here at 9, he goy here at 11.
Habib, who flew in from the Higher Education Summit underway in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, to attend to student demands, was kept waiting for two hours by demonstrators as they awaited for more students to arrive.

Obviously he was made to wait because he made everyone wait.
Obviously he was made to wait because he made everyone wait. I see the title of that article from the link. He obviously doesn't have the authority. Why do you think the protesters are waiting for the chairperson fly in and to convene a meeting of the council?
*facepalm*
Should I have put /s. Education Campus cleaners were dismissed for showing support for the students. A group of students went to Education Campus in Parktown to fetch these workers (and other students) so they can have a chance to speak.

I was told council meeting happening in front of students. Will confirm though
JOHANNESBURG – Wits University students have now conceded vice chancellor Adam Habib is co-operating with them, but they have warned they will bring all learning to a stop if their concerns over next year's fee hike aren't addressed.
For a third consecutive day students are blocking access to the campus in their protest against a 10.5% fee increase for next year.
Students have been demonstrating since early this morning, saying tertiary education should be accessible and another fee increase is out of the question.
They also say they want “free education” in their lifetime.
Habib says he doesn’t have the authority to overturn the council’s decision on the increase for 2016.
Incoming student representative council president Nompendulo Mkatshwa says Habib is co-operating.
“He’s listening to students and is doing his best but we said him that he can’t leave because if he leaves then he’s not doing his best.”
Just like the UCT Council, Wits seems to be caving. So the permanently retarded "students" might get placated yet again...
