Hey dudes,

Think maybe its coz I got a bad cold but I cant seem to find the stock voltage on this chip on google...

Some place say its 1.2V and some say its 1.208 or 1.225 etc...what are the stock volts on wolfdales?

does it matter? set the voltage to 1.2v, if it's stable then sweet, if not then bump it up slightly to 1.22v etc... until it is stable...

It does for me, reason being I got a crappy non-overclocking m/board and I wanna bsel mod it to 3.33ghz

Now I looked around and some can do that on stock, some need a minor voltage bump...so now I need to work out which pins to join to give it an extra 0.075v, but to work that out I need to know the stock volt.

And since I got a nsk3300...installing the cooler is a biach, so would rather mod it and install it one time :D

@sn3rd: shot man...I found that on the intel sites too...doesnt help coz it gives me a range.

Not all cpu's have the same stock voltage, it depends on batches and revisions etc ie my E5200 will prob have a different vid to yours.

I think core temp shows the vid of the processor so try that out

Shweet it had 1.24v stock...but after bsel modding it to 266fsb...the volt increased on its own to 1.3 - 1.33...the volt mods dont work...or maybe i made a calculation error...

Least the temp is 50 load and 41 idle...not too bad...right?
