Well the intro starts off, and it is quite good. When the actual gameplay starts that is where it lost me. I tried for about 2 hours to get into the game, but perhaps this is just me, never caught my attention. Maybe because I am not a big WW2 fan, but if you are a fan, or very bored, then yes get it. Otherwise, give it a miss, or wait for the bargain bin.......

My 2c anyway!!!!

Nah, I like the fact that it seems uncomplicated and "clean". I hate it when they just smack a big plastic "sticker" on the front. And sometimes these marketing people make the t-shirt too "busy".

I like the design. The W-logo on the front. Small "classy" id on the back. They didn't over-brand it.

EDIT: BTW, I have already pre-ordered it. So, no offence to Slayeruser, but I hope you're wrong :D

Why would anyone waste their money on this when there are so many better FPS games coming out? MW2? Operation Flashpoint2?
Wolfenstein had its run. This remake is unneccessary, and i'm glad Duke Nukem got canned, cause i can almost guarantee the remake would have sucked. ;)
 
I've ordered it via Take2 - paid for it and my lovely GF is fetching it for me today so I'm def gonna try play it tonight or this weekend at some point.
 
got it.. played it... uninstalled it... :D

oh yes... and its a b-grade for sure. they just milking it too much. dont get me wrong... still kinda fun though... something about killing nazi's! ;)

i found the most accurate review to be the one on gt.com

Hmmn. Not encouraging at all :(

The gameplay vid's on Youtube seemed good... worst case scenario I turn this into a gift for an unsuspecting cousin or friend :p

I don't expect it to be amazing, if it's b-grade that's OK, there aren't many good single player FPS's out at the moment, so I'm keen to get going on something new.

I'm a bit of an iD fanboy, sue me :D :p
 
Okay, been playing it for about a hour.

It's very much a run in this direction, shoot as many nazi's and yeah... I think I'll play the single player and put it on the shelf and never touch it again, nothing to write home about to be honest.

But yes, not stellar - decent game, feels very much like Quake 4 in terms of handling: bit clunky and slow.

But still, enjoying it.

Nope, I said handling - the way it 'drives'.. the game combat elements aren't as nice as some others.

With other games, like say - Call of Jaurez 2, Vegas etc; has nice gameplay feats like looking, shooting around corrners etc; this feels a bit dated and clunky in comparison.

Might join the local servers later ;)
 
I gave it a whizz, can't say im a fan of the bobbing around when running. Also I don't quite get the point of the whole thing besides just shooting nazi's
