Has anyone been charged fees for transferring money out of their account (paying a beneficiary)?

Perhaps because enough people complained, they did indeed consider my request for a refund for two cards that I cancelled, I noticed the refund came though on 19 January, 2 working days after my email was sent

16 January 2026:
We confirm that the requested secondary cards have been deactivated.

Kindly be advised that we have referred your request for the reversal of the secondary card fees to our Finance department for review.

Once they have completed their assessment of your account and provided us with feedback, we will contact you with the outcome.

From 2026, you will earn your Woolies Credit Card Quarterly Cashback in line with the calendar year: January to March, April to June, July to September and October to December. Every three months, you’ll receive the cashback you earned over the previous quarter. It’s a simpler way to keep track of your cashback and look forward to it each quarter.

No cap on general spend or Woolies spend as far as I remember. There is a cap on utility bill payments in store - I think it's R40-60k a month or something like that.
