I thought about it now. I doubt someone walked in and dumped a pipe bomb on the shelf behind the corn flakes.
It would get caught on cameras easily and they would even be able to access the mall cameras and find the car used ect.
Also - there is a high chance a customer or packer would have seen a device and then just called it in. Especially if a bomb had gone off in another store already.

I think the device was put into a product box at a distribution centre. Something heavy and a box that could be resealed.
Then it was packed on the shelf by an unsuspecting packer, this was not a massive device, you could easily make something like this weigh under a kilo.

Flipping scary, because some poor soul could have take this home.

Surely you would see cornflakes harmed in the pic then? I don't see one cornflake anywhere.
 
More likely a magnetic device with a timer. Small enough to be hidden in your hand.

No well there would be no food in the box though... which is why there isn't food everywhere.

There is loads of ripped up cardboard and a few big slug holes in the shelves... but not a lot of food.
Damn woolies packaging is overkill though.

Knowing how things work there, they will chuck everything in that store, just on the off chance a chunk of shrapnel made its way into the package.

Youtube served me an interview with Kees Beyers about the deal that Woolies cancelled with Beyers Chocolates causing their liquidation. Wonder whether chocolates were displayed in the isle behind cereals? :p
