Pride month, much like Black November, is a largely international/American thing and I don't know why SA is so entrenched in "me too" culture that we pretend to make things ours which aren't.

Woolworths didn’t do anything wrong. The same people who supported apartheid are hot under the collar for this inclusive campaign… yet they were happy to support and really prop up an exclusionary government that would probably have hanged gay people … bottom of the barrel individuals telling us about what’s morally right? Telling us about the bible and sheit. Are you kidding me?

We can not allow right wing zealots to run riot. If you don’t wanna shop at Woolies go shop at shoprite or boxer and eat sheitty food you peasant. Like how are you affected by rainbow clothing? Are you that insecure about your sexuality that colours make your question yourself. Fvck off weak men.

I still think it is silly, People need to be comfortable with themselves first, you dont need someone else to make you comfortable or feel confident. I dont judge those who go to pride to express their flamboyance but you will never catch me there.
