Woolworths SA refuses to back down from supporting Pride Month

I saw this at the one Woolies in Cape Town, it looked really nice! Always nice seeing a little colour and "how-you-doing" (Wendy Williams reference, for those that don't know) here and there. I would like to assume the brand managers at Woolies would have expected some pushback.

Funny, I bet that some of the same simps who blindly supported WW when the Palestinian Boycott was going are now in turn boycotting them

I still think it is silly, People need to be comfortable with themselves first, you dont need someone else to make you comfortable or feel confident.
They are comfortable with themselves, that's why they do it. They don't do it to seek approval.

I dont judge those who go to pride to express their flamboyance but you will never catch me there.
That's fine. Not everybody is the same and we don't all have to like or do the same things.

Any business that advertises or markets their support of any political, social, religious issues deserves to be boycotted.

We don't ****ing want to be to told what **** to support, their purpose to supply goods or services of decent quality at reasonable prices in a convenient manner.

If they want to be the mouth piece or show their support of xyz, then start a ****ing NGO and get on with it.

But how else are we meant to know how virtuous people and companies are if they don't advertise it?
