Woolworths SA refuses to back down from supporting Pride Month

This is your guy:

Michael Levin (born 21 May 1943) is an American philosopher and writer.

Torture

In the 1982 article "The Case for Torture", Levin argued that "there are situations where torture is not merely permissible but morally mandatory." Levin reiterated this view in 2009.

Race

Throughout the 1990s Levin frequently wrote about race differences in intelligence, biology, and morality for the white nationalist publication American Renaissance. The Southern Poverty Law Center classifies him as an "unabashed white supremacist."

Hey, Wiki!

Nice one pulling a @Cray character assassination there. So what if those were his arguments and writings? What on earth do they have to do with the topic at hand?

There's nothing wrong with what's mentioned above. What do you disagree with?

What you've just done is a telltale symptom of someone stuck deep in the matrix.

He said that "any biologist" will tell you that homosexuality is abnormal.

I asked for a quote from a single biologist to back up his claim.

He replies with some ramblings of a homophobic white supremacist (who is not a biologist).

Now you're yelling "Deep Matrix character assassination!"

Man, you guys need to lay off the drugs for a while.:ROFL::ROFL:

Do they have to actually shag each other to be homosexual?

What if they just spoon a bit, like chums?
Well if you put a bunch of bulls in a pen with no cow they'll jump each other. If you add a cow they'll ignore each other(but she won't have a good time. They cannot reason, just hormones)

I still don't see why something being abnormal is inherently immoral. If we for the sake of the argument concede that homosexuality is abnormal, then what? Woolworths has celebrated holidays from Islam and Judaism that are abnormal in a South African context. It doesn't make any of these things bad.

"Homosexuality is abnormal therefore it is immoral" is not sound reasoning.

You can't reason with hate... :(

No meme? Disappointing :(

And seriously, man the f**k up, you consistently sh*t post about people who are "deep in the matrix", as if they haven't reached your level of perception, character assassination is all you do.

FYI - the dude who wrote that is not a biologist in any way.

Says the guy quoting Wikipedia?

May I introduce Prof Michael Levin, a biologist, who has studied it from both a biological and philosophical side. Y
What now?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Levin

Michael Levin (/ˈlɛvɪn/; born 21 May 1943) is an American philosopher and writer. He is professor emeritus of philosophy at City University of New York. He has published on metaphysics, epistemology, race, homosexuality, animal rights, the philosophy of archaeology, the philosophy of logic, philosophy of language, and the philosophy of science.

Levin's central research interests are in epistemology (reliabilism and Gettier problems) and in philosophy of race.

Education

Levin graduated from Stuyvesant High School in 1960, earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Michigan State University in 1964, and studied at Columbia University where he received a doctoral degree in 1969. His dissertation was titled "Wittgenstein's Philosophy of Mathematics".[1]

There is a Michael Levin who is a biologist, but he didn't write that BS that you quoted.
