It's impossible to do no indoctrination and have a functioning society.

It's objectively obvious what indoctrination works, what does not and why.

I am not ideological about it. If alphabetism was not as directly harmful to children as it is I would not be so against it. The same way I would be against any religion that tries to convince children to have profiteers butcher their bodies and then later strip dance for crowds of perverts.

Again, its quite understandable that you would want to latch onto his words, but not justifiable. Generalizing about religion and portraying it as indoctrination is nothing but a perverted plot. Anyone with good reason will not allow themselves to fall pray to such a plot, let alone take there own experiences as the benchmark for what religion is, given the background you’ve painted here your statements about religion cannot be objective rather biased and misleading.

I agree, that is the end of it. Let people live their lives and do what they want, as everybody is imposing their own vision onto kids. End of the day YOUR kids are YOUR responsibility, nothing more to it.

You can't save or micromanage every kid in the world, so let them be.

That means that you will have no problem with people farming out their children for sex..... which completely contradicts your reasons for hating God.

Still having problems with logical consistency I see..... on purpose it seems.

Maybe you can tell me how or why sin is taught to kids then? And how is sin motivated to kids since you know more about this topic than me?

Okay, let's remove sex as it's an extreme case, let's say you don't like how revealing parents dress their kids or that they put boys in pink dresses.

What are you going to do about it? Adopt those kids? Get them sent to an orphanage and donate a portion of your money every month to look after them? Dedicate a weekend to teach parents on how to dress their kids? Drive around on police-duty to make sure people are behaving?

While I don't agree with it and argue against it.... I would still allow it.

It's on the line but has not crossed the line yet. It might screw up the kids but won't fck them up the way the alphabetters are trying to do now.

Its a sin to kill… you do the math. Don’t be selective in how you analyse religion. Generalising that preaching sin is indoctrination is a sweeping statement and here again the vehement distaste rears its head purely due to not reasoning and allowing your own earlier life experiences to cloud how you view religion as a whole. Have you actually had enough of feeding this problem of yours or will you let it consume you?

Other religions don't directly lead to abuse, this does.

You just don't want to accept that the logical conclusion of alphabetism is mass pedophilia.... or that gay and alphabet are two different things.

We came to the conclusion to leave parents alone and that we wouldn't adopt their kids, that's the end of it.

Neither you or I are going to sit there for the child's circumcision and complain, nor would we complain if a little girl had her ears pierced.

How can anyone be without error we constantly err? But I’m sure there’s a generalisation waiting to be shared about how sin is a concept of manipulating and controlling people like sheep by guilting them. If you had this experience then certainly you need to address this with those individuals who did this to you, as they could have easily have done this without religion… or is religion required to guilt children? rather stop spreading your hate about religion and address the issue ar hand which is, why do you possess such a healthy appetite for hating religion.

You said sin is common stuff like murder, so i'm asking you how you have sinned in the last 24 hours. Did you kill anyone? Did you steal anything?

I just want to rule out how you're following these great rules so well but you're still somehow full of sin? And now you want to teach this same mode of thought to a child? What are you telling the kid?

What do you think a pastor will tell a gay teenager?
