Well then I'm gonna have to stick around at my current work place because clearly I'm working at the "exception to the rule"![]()
Stay clear of office romances
Somehow I seem to have always managed to work at "exception to the rule".
Fortunately I have never had the misfortune to work for someone like this.
What a douchebag!Staff morale - working environments - all just textbook semantics.
When a company hires people it is not in the interest of that company to look after good work environments or ensure staff morale is kept at high levels. The company is investing a lot of money in staff salaries. Staff members better shape up or leave.
A good company paying good salaries should milk workers, ensure that their work input is 10x that of the salary paid, in addition, the company should generate at least 10x the income they are spending on the salary for it to be successful. Good advice for these companies is to let employees work long hours, 100% maximum in accordance with laws. Limit time off to the maximum and refrain from paying additional bonuses and overtime if and where possible. I believe that fear should be invoked. Employee progress monitoring should be done at least twice a day. Written warnings should be issued with immediate effect when and where possible, and layoffs / firing be done as regular where possible. Staff privileges should be minimized as far as possible, as they are at a work place and not an entertainment center.
