World’s Most Expensive Laptops

It's just plain stupid to spend that much money on something which value depreciates so quickly.

Even if you have the cash-flow of a sheik, full of oil-money, it's still stupid.

Think about your old 286, but which is clad in gold plating. That's idiotic.

I read of a Sheik that bought gold toilet paper holders. Its sad that idiotic products will be bought buy idiotic people! Its sad that there are people so rich they don't know what to do with their (or their Dads hard earned) money and squander it, while you have all the poverty in the world.

I saw the bentley laptop in Harrods(london) OMG that thing is beautiful! I would seriously want one of them. I would replace my teddybear with it.

Even if you are going to pay a million for a laptop its still going to run Windows, crash and get viruses. Id go for a Apple Mac 17" with the biggest SSD HDD and max ram - thats all u need.

Hmm, so we are actually talking about jewellery with some built-in processing power.

WTF those things specs are "Cr@p"
Really O_o?
Businesswise you’re an idiot if you blow cash no matter how rich you are, second most business people use office pcs and lap tops just do emails and small things not play games or need extra screens or the devil wears prada’s hand bag.
I say "plak" two laptops together and run them in dual: D? joke*
Why do they make laptops their standard size, double the size of them to fit in better cheaper parts? Open your pc and see "how small the stuff is in its" unless it is for going to places without a wall socket to use, what’s the point. You can email from your phone any ways.
I took a business briefcase modded it with my pc parts of a normal desktop pc and flat screen presto my R5k laptop that can play crises on almost full graphics and all I did was mold a fiberglass interior to mount the parts, it has a pull out keyboard, flip open screen, wifi and all the goodies and more.
The best part is looks professional y modded not the duck tape modding some people do lol, now I have a gaming rig and it is light, stirdy, portable, easy, functional, in a black leather suite case that looks professional as if it was made by a company.
So not only is it more awesome in rawpower than any laptop but when I go LAN or take it to work I just plug it in a wall socket or when I travel at the hotel . It does not take up any space really because it’s a briefcase you know the ones lawyers carry around?
Yesterday I added a tv-card and a receiver and I modded my car for extra power to use as I am on the road or so. I connect to the internet with my cell phone and that’s all you need really.
Cost me R5k to make it in total so I O_o a guy paying R30 for the use of 2-4hours battery life or not being able to recharge it and how many people just use their laptops and don’t plug it in anyways as they work to charge :D?

@Shardie Considering that you're pushing Apple above Windows wouldn't you agree that the Mac prices are extremely high considering that new ones are basically running Intel hardware?

I'm still amazed at what the posers out there will pay for posing material. The specs are crap, but it's not like the people who would buy it would know how to turn it on. Just like those who buy Bentleys will probably never drive the thing.

However, I did see the Lenovo on my price list today and I can do with one of those on my desk. That mini screen would come in handy as a little extra screen real-estate. However, at R55K ex VAT and weighing in around 6kg, I'd rather just get a mini form PC, 24" LCD and one of those gaming carry handle thingies. And have cash spare to buy a diamond to stick on it with some Prestick.
