World's future reserve currency uncertain

All thats required is a reserve currency independent of any country's domestic currency.

The mechanics to put this into effect are quite easy and it will be rather seamless, the only problem is political will.

The Americans will never allow it. Putting a reserve currency that's not American means their debt actually counts and well.. It's cheaper & profitable to go to war.

Never say never. History has many examples of once seemingly invincible empires that debased their currencies out of existence as they lost the ability to maintain their hegemony. There's no fundamental difference in the underlying mechanics between ancient Rome and today, apart from scale and complexity. This is because the mathematics behind it remains the same.

From the documentaries I have watched, the whole economy seems to be actually built on a farce. The US prints money out of no where. The banks keeps 10% of your deposits and lends the rest out and does the same to customers. Everything is based on debt. If everyone went to the bank and wanted to draw all their money in cash there would be nowhere near enough money to satisfy that need because everything i debt. It is actually scary to think about. Where is this going to end? The US debt is just escalating and escalating and what? They just going to keep on doing that into infinity? Perhaps it is true then, that if the Dollar loses its reputation as a reserve currency that then the US is completely fcked because their Dollar would essentially be worthless.
