In production I wouldn't be surprised if the price is in excess of $20000

there is (was recently?) a nice big 100inch one in Menlyn (cant remember shop name, that TV & consumer electronics shop near the one entrance).

I dont see the benefit of going this big over a top-end projector which will cost you alot less, even with replacing the bulbs.

I measured 381cm with a tape measure...it took up nearly the whole living room (only needed about +-20cm to fill out the whole room). Imagine people renovating houses to accommodate a television.

I saw a 107 inch plasma (made by Panasonic) while in China - They had Nintendo Wii games and at that size it was almost lifelike...
