Official Release Date - 13/11/2008.

And a question.

Doe you think raiding will be easier once the new patch is out and everyone has there new skills?

Raiding has died down and will continue to do so until the expantion comes out. Most guys just dont see the point in raiding for gear thats getting replaced soon anyway.
happened with pre-bc and will and is happening already.
Also expect some guild dramas to unfold. :P

Nice to get a date, would wait for an official confirmation though.
The beta is in its current state way to buggy to be considered for a release. So I hope they take their time, and give us a good product.

As for raiding picking up with new tallents. I doubt that it will pick up, it will be fun for those still raiding though. Protection warriors are really OP!!! (I took my warrior to have a go at Durn the Hungerer and got him down to 50% solo! ) And the boost of dps from some classes are phenomenal, were getting about 300 dps more on my hunter just with using the new tallents.

They only announcement i trust is the famous "its ready when its ready".

Well the november release date has been floating around for ages, it's been between 5 Nov - 13 Nov since they basically announced Wrath. So i wouldn't suddenly go by it now.

That said, i'm sure there's some pressure to get it out farely soon after Warhammer as to make sure people don't get totally hooked to Warhammer [i.e. reaching end game where the action start] . And i can tell you, i'll be "Freezing" aka "Cancelling" my WoW sub once i see myself digging into WAR...especially if Wotlk is not available .

I wouldn't be too surprised with a December release or even January. The content patch [the 1GB one] might go live in End Sept/Oct..this one includes the new skill trees and other stuff , but not sure about the full package [as in the box being in store].

I've solo'd him with my war with T5 already but yes the dps boost even for prot seems to be huge

One thing that bothers me is why put in such a HUGE patch why not just release it with the game when it comes out on discs.

But mid Nov does sound realistic i heard most online preorders are made for 4th of November. This i got from wow insider but its still rumour.

just saw a story on wow-insider - 2 DK and a priest clearing kara - they recon these dudes had no end-game gear or anything special.

lol, ain't that the truth :p My guild is disbanding...

Not looking forward to the lvling etc, but wish we could just get this over and done with.

It's is claimed to be a paid for advertisement by Blizzard. we'll have to give it a day or 2 to know for sure ;)

its a good indication but heh who knows , anyways anyone know where I can get my hands on a copy preorder or do I have to get paypal together and ask a eu friend of mine ?:S
