WOTLK

its a good indication but heh who knows , anyways anyone know where I can get my hands on a copy preorder or do I have to get paypal together and ask a eu friend of mine ?:S

I preordered it from BT but SA will be 3 days late i think.

I will try and get it as close as possible to the UK launch. Just no idea how quick I can get the discs from there to here. Will try and check out my options

Get a key, and download the game. Should be about 2-4Gb.

A quick question.

Surely if we can use our credit cards for subscription services, we can use the same credit cards to obtain a legit key from Blizz on their website and just down load the game?

Initially in BC you couldn't do that but I think Blizz has finally realised the value in providing that kind of service so it might be possible.

You can't buy a key online directly from Blizzard. You can however download the game installation files because they provide "Trial" keys on the website.

Sure ?

Know any where I could start the download process so long ? Beta would be a start yea ?

Yea I will get a key from some of my friends in Germany. Or even Acid could prob help us out with that ;)

Beta download etc will not help, it will change from beta to the actual release so that would be a waste of download time. Most likely the people that have beta installed will need to install the complete game again. (or upgrade their current game)

When TBC were released I were in Germany, and it were only available in German. So I took the key and upgraded my account, then downloaded the CD content via Torrents to start the installation. I expect it to be similar this time around.
And one thing to take into consideration is that the game will lag so much for that first 1-3 days and the realms will go down so often that it will be to frustrating to play. So if you start 2 days later you would not have lost much time compared to the rest.

Hope they will make this service available for the release, though I doubt it. TBC were only made available for download by Bliz 6 months after the release.

I wonder if they will releasing various packages of the expansion...ie collector's edition vs normal.

Anyone have any info regarding this. I remember there being a collector's edition when TBC came out.
