WOTLK

Ah wonder if it's worth it to pre order at BT though.
Wonder if they will definitely get it the 14th November

I must say, the collectors edition looks pretty cool! :D Got some nice stuff included in it! Hope BT will have it!

Oh, and GZ MrG on 62! :D

Will the release of WOTLK not also bring an experience drop? I know that they said that going from 70 to 80 should take about the same time as going from 60-70 currently. But what will happen to the total exp needed to go from 1 to 70? Does anybody have any info on this?

My Shammy is luckily on 64 now, should be able to get him to 70 and get a few other +-lvl20 toons to (hopefully) 40.

There is plans to drop the exp needed to go from 60-70, but not by much though.
Going from 70-71 takes 1.5M exp currently, and it is planned that 70-80 take about the same time as it took from 60-70 during TBC. I will however get 25 daily quests done the week or so before the release and then just hand them all in before I start to quest. 10-15k exp per daily quest handin on beta.
atleast that is a ~300k exp head start.

damn, cant check now, blocked at work.

Can someone please post some info on the Collectors Edition please?

The following will be included in the WOTLK Collector's edition:

* World of Warcraft: The Wrath of the Lich King on DVD-ROM.
* The Art of World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King, a 208-page book featuring never-before-seen images from the game.
* An exclusive in-game pet: Frosty, the baby frost wyrm.
* A behind-the-scenes DVD containing over an hour of developer interviews, the Wrath of the Lich King intro cinematic with director’s commentary, and more.
* The official soundtrack CD, containing 21 epic tracks from the game, along with exclusive bonus tracks.
* A mouse pad featuring a map of the newly opened continent of Northrend.
* Two World of Warcraft Trading Card Game March of the Legion™ starter decks, along with two exclusive cards available only in the Collector’s Edition.

The behind-the-scenes DVD will offer developer interviews and commentary on all aspects of the creation of Wrath of the Lich King, as well as trailers and cinematics from the game, and even footage of panel discussions from BlizzCon 2007.

Collector's Edition owners will also be able to take their adventures from the computer to the tabletop with two starter packs for the World of Warcraft Trading Card Game -- one for themselves and one to share with a friend. In addition, Collector's Edition owners will receive two exclusive tournament-legal World of Warcraft Trading Card Game cards to incorporate in their decks or trade with other World of Warcraft TCG players.

With the Collector's Edition-exclusive in-game pet, Frosty the baby frost wyrm, you'll be the envy of your guildmates and other players as you roam the expanses of Northrend.

A soundtrack CD with stirring music from the expansion pack, a beautiful coffee table book with exclusive concept art, and a Northrend-themed mouse pad round out the wealth of bonus items available in the Collector's Edition of World of Warcraft: The Wrath of the Lich King.

Yeah, I got the same email. I then emailed back asking if I have already pre-oredred a normal copy if I could get an upgrade. They said they will let me know as soo as they receive word. I really want the Collector's Edition tho! :)

As long as they are a bit faster than with their Age of Conan release. Got mine a week after the release :(
Will be ordering the collecters edition a long with a normal one.

i wonder if they can gaurantee the midnight launch thing on the 13/11....

Pre ordered mine as well. Lost my proof, but they emailed it back to me to me 5 mins after I mailed them :)

OK so i just preordered my copy of Wrath from BT, apparently they gonna be having a 12:00 midnight launch...

lol, ain't that the truth :p My guild is disbanding...

Not looking forward to the lvling etc, but wish we could just get this over and done with.

So coming from a noob:D, why do guilds disband before an Update. It should be more reason to practice hard and be ready to pwn Arthas...(if that's posible?)
Also why are so many of you talking about jumping to "WAR" makes me think I should not even start playing "WOW"

I made the mistake of getting onto the AOC bandwagon too just prior to launch, luckily I didn't do anything to my wow account, and thank goodness I didn't. I did not enjoy the game at all, it felt the whole time as if I should still be playing wow, so i stopped playing aoc and came back home.

I'll take a more layed back approach with WAR, I will try it, but not immediately after the launch, will first hear the comments, weigh up pro's and con's and then only give it a go.

Why people stop doing stuff prior to an expansion....I don't get it. There are people that say why raid and get gear that will be outdated within a few hours of playing the expansion, but it's been said more than once that T6 gear should last you until late 70's. But hey, then again, I still classify myself as a n00b, what do I know :S

Well some t6 will last till 76ish...Just the strain of knowing that soon all your hard work and competing will be for naught so why keep trying to down that last boss etc. I for one am not looking forward to dropping some of my epics :|

Aye, but then I weigh it up with the new content and new challenges, and hell why not :)
