Would love to get one, but they're still ridiculously expensive here in the UK. You can pull away in an Audi RS or BMW M car for cheaper. Though, there are a LOT of charging points popping up everywhere now, so I think it's only a matter of time before the prices come down. The Model S is quite popular, but think I've only seen a single Model 3 around town.

No. Not for me.

It has all the attributes of things I try to avoid: Overpriced, fashionable, underperforming, irritating design choices, politically correct, patchy quality, produced by a celebrity CEO, to name a few.

Will take a warm V8 anyday just to IYF the fanbois.

You sound like such a joy to live with, not!

Wow.... basically you hate everything then?

Ford had a celebrity CEO so you must avoid them as well then hey?

Not so. The world is larger than you think.

Celebrity CEO is lowest on my list of off-putting attributes. I can live with that if the other negatives are absent.

Didn't think you and evilstebunny would go for "Overpriced, fashionable, underperforming, irritating design choices, politically correct, patchy quality".

I won't... did you not see the post of "If the price is right, etc..."

I like what Tesla bring to the market but I wouldn't just buy it if it was available, it would still be compared to its competitors on many fronts.

No.

If I had the money and lived in a country with the infrastructure to support EVs then I would spend the extra and get a Model X or Model S . I don't particularly like the spartan design of the Model 3.

I tend to only buy cars that keep or appreciate in value.

I seriously doubt an electric vehicle will appreciate in value like some internal combustion engined vehicles

once the battery is dead, then thats that
