Wow vs Diablo 3

Take Diablo 2. Once you've finished it on normal, it was optional to play it on hard

Nightmare, hell

and once youve done that you can play hardcore, which imo was the only way to play :p
Any1 else kill baal hell, with a hardcore character? without backing it up ofc

D3 will not be the same as D2 with just better graphix

Wonder what new Battlenet system they will bring in :D

Blizzard never seized to amaze me I myself wasn't a big diablo fun but D3 looks so fun I might just try it =)

Yeah I must say that the always take the bar up a few notches... I have very seldom (can actually not remember one) played one of their games and been dissapointed.

Tbh...I'll wait for Starcraft 2 rather...not a Diablo fan here...

WoW will always be my fav though...now that I have 2 lvl 70's its even more fun ^^

People incorrectly assume that you can only install 1 game on a pc :)

I have lots of games :p Crisis, Spore, WoW, Battlefield 2142 etc etc...

But I only play WoW :o

you know ... everyone keeps going on about this and that and whatnot regarding WoW vs <game name here>

At the end of the day, after coming from GW, apart from the economy system and whatnot ... the deciding factor that blew every other game out of the water was WoW's total freedom to control the character.

Being able to run where you want, jump off whatever you want, fly where you want, ride where you want, go fishing where you want, fall-off-that-damn-aldor-lift-whenever-you-least-want , go swimming when/where you want, etc. absolutely made it for me. The fact that you could chase a hordie through an entire continent without hitting a load screen truly makes it feel like you're inside a world instead of a leveling game.

The 1st 25 levels of WoW i didn't bother with quests, I just ran around exploring every little corner of every little province (and got stuck in a tree where I had to hearth out more times than I care to admit)

The last time i felt freedom of character movement anywhere close to this was in Star Wars: Jedi Academy.

and in Nov, the barber shop opens. getting my Nelf a mohican, what else :D

I hate WoW, although if I had better latency or could take some jumping moron out of the air and slam him into ground folowed by repetive clubbing against the head. Even the ability to stick out your leg to trip would of kept me long enough in the game to loose my soul.

BTW I'm clueless what to do about the "no LAN" problem. Have they given more info about battle.net yet? Will we be able to get good latency etc.

Nicely said! This is exactly why I like WoW so much. 'cept, its an Ally I'm chasing :p

Well I would say WoW, because it already is a good game and the new patch is supposed to be really really good.

De Diablo 3. Im deffinately buying it when it gets released. WoW can go shoot himself in the head for all I care. What Ive seen so far.... It looks great!!

There is something awesome seeing a chunk of your clan together riding over a hill together all mounted on frostwolves off to pwn some idiot ally 70's that are ganking lowbies in some area like stonetalon mountains

yep, we do the same with hordies ganking in STV / Southshore / Goldshire :D

As the one clan's name says " Gank my alt, meet my main" ... that's the one part of the game i really enjoy ... being able to live out your character without being bound to quests etc. You can ride the hills flat and do 360's off ledges or go rock jumping in Ashzara or fishing in Alterac Mountains etc.

Last night I took my newly acquired epic flyer for a spin through Nagrand, with Alt-Z on, it's friggen amazing just gliding all over looking at the scenery. Myself and a lockie mate also had a picnic ontop of one of those floating islands :D

Best part ever ... after taking out a ganker repeatedly, you make a campfire next to his corpse and do proper camping :D

If you have your graphics on stupid parts of the game are visually stunning, is actually what sold me initially, flying from xroads to ogg at sunset with all those antelope running through the plains, i was like holy @#$!~

Done this so many times, esp to gnomes :P

I always loved diablo so I think I will stick to D3.

But gaming is bettering itself in leaps and bounds :D
