Following an extraordinary large bill of R7800 on an uneventful R250/month account with a 3yr track record, I assisted my friend in following due process, engaging Vodacom Data call centre on telephone calls & emails, walk-in to Customer Care Centre, following referral to Vodaworld Account specialist, and this is where we ran into a wall. Emails were read, but not replied to. Two weeks later, and we were not successful in reaching this person on her telephone number either.

Considering my friend has been wrongfully blacklisted (externally), it is extremely disappointing that Vodacom is showing no urgency to resolve the matter.

Vodacomdata, can you pls help resolve my friend's case.

I would hate to see her pay the outstanding R4900 to Vodacom for a technical fault that can't be explained, just to get her blacklisting reversed. This should not be happening!!

Would be greatly appreciated.
Regards
Johannes

Just lay charges of fraud and/or theft against Vodacom, it's CEO and top management at a police station. This will force them to appear in court in person. Then see how fast they fix the problem. Otherwise they just dont give a crap about over-billing you, giving you the run-around and blacklisting you. They treat their customers like criminals. It's time we gave them a taste of their own.

There are already lawsuits / class action happening against Neotel and MTN.
