My line's totally borked. I thought Openweb was ****ing with me. They did once last year. I'm suffering like everyone else in that telkominternet thread. Internet's been slow like hell tonight. Exchange consgestion?

Timing out on the 2nd hop doesn't bode well.. but it also doesn't make much sense. Seems a bit weird indeed. Does it do that every time?

Short version

Long version

Given the timeout, the local exchange hop is inconclusive. There is definitely no exchange congestion visible in the trace you posted though. The time of post suggests that you traced it near 21h30 which would be prime congestion time. If that time is clear then I doubt any other would show congested.

You posted a 182ms trace to an intl address - that is not only good, but excellent by most sane standards. Contrast that with "My line's totally borked.".

Advice

Abandon this thread. Throw out all your conclusions - they're no good. Create a new thread elaborating on whatever lead you to post "My line's totally borked."...and then add something along the lines of "mybb please assist me in diagnosing this issue". If you run into issues and misdiagnose it by a wild margin then you'll receive a response like this. The correct way to approach mybb is "Here is the raw info...please assist.". If you're opening line "My line's totally borked."...is straight up wrong then you will get shot down without mercy.

OW is not good between 7pm and about 11pm ish. Fridays might be worse.
Check what you get in the morning.
 
Epic. The pron stream is slow and he thinks it is OW or exchange congestion.

Has it occurred to you that the pron site is under strain on a Friday night?

shame guys blue balls is a terrible thing and if there is no timely release, there can be, "complications" so to speak.

This has to be thread of the month or something (if there is such a thing)
