since Wednesday evening i have not been able to log into wow with my wtfast account it gets me past the login screen when i load into my char it loads to about 90% then stops there it will either disconnect me or let me into the game and then disconnect me

anyone else having this issue.

Have you tried manually choosing a different WTFast to see if that helps? Which server is giving you problems?

I cancelled my WTFast after this last patch. I don't know what Blizzard did but my lat is <200 without WTFast.

as far as i know blizzard intergrated a reverse wtfast type thing to route our data. so its not going to give much benefit. but i may be completely wrong. thats simply what ive heard in guild.

The main change that Blizzard has made with the last patch, is on the "options" menu, "network" sub menu. There is a new "optimize network for speed" checkbox. This is on by default.

This option will actually increase your bandwidth usage, so if you are having problems with lag spikes, you might want to try disabling it and see if that helps.

i was told to change the ports to 3724 which i have done and its allowed me to log into the game as before no problems so far

With wtfast I'm getting worse speeds in wow than without? The latency is quite okay without it but was always great with. :)

My lat still great with private box in London :)

Im getting 250 - 350 without wtfast And used to get ~200ms with it. :) Last night it was ~220 - 300 tops. So not exactly complaining. Got 6 months free wtfast access anyways. :p

i dont use any proxy, think my line run on awesomeness, 168ms :P

yes i actually raid with 168ms sometimes jumps 180.

Reducethelag also still working great. Although I don't use my mweb account for gaming.

reducethelag is like lowerping / wtfast i assume ? , and most people are buying other isp's cap whom are with mweb as for the last week its impossible.

Yup, to be quite honest, I've tested most of these services and I much prefer reducethelag over ones like wtfast or lowerping.I play on a US oceanic server, so latency is really important.

Free 30 day trial : http://www.reducethelag.com/ should you want to test.

yeah i use to use it., when 30 trail is up, new email address and boom another trail, there system kind of flawed o.0

haha sneaky! :P At least their traffic management or w/e you call it is great. I'm usually sitting at around 300-330ms with rtl as opposed to around 500-800 with wtfast ans so forth.

Also very reasonable price for a years sub. Keeps me happy :)

WTFast is now offering South African servers for you to try out!

To test this out:

1. Make sure you have the latest build of WTFast: https://secure.wtfast.com/download.aspx
2. On the WTFast game/server selection screen, select “show server locations”
3. On the server location list, we now have 3 server locations listed for South Africa:
a. South Africa – this is a direct connection to our ZA server. You will connect to your game directly from this ZA server.
b. South Africa to EU – connect to our ZA server, then our server in Germany. (then your game)
c. South Africa to US – connect to our ZA server, then our server in Washington, DC (east coast US, then your game)
4. To try this out, you should either choose South Africa, or EU if you are connecting to EU game severs, or US for US servers.

We are anxious for your feedback to let us know how these new ZA servers work out from South Africa compared to our other servers. Leave feedback here, or send it to [email protected] and I can give you some free WTFast time.
