Which one?

I have to choose between one of the 3, but can’t really make up my mind! Has anybody got good/bad experiences with any of them?

Somebody said take the HTC, but ALL 3 are made by HTC!!!

I need a phone with a keyboard to tide me over until the Palm Pre launches in SA (who knows when!)

My last 3 phones were a Palm Treo 680, Palm Centro and a Palm Treo 750 (notice a pattern?) I need QWERTY! But I also want something bigger than a 240*240 or 320*320 screen!

The X1 has the best resolution, but the G1 has the best screen (capacitive) but the lowest res. The Touch Pro has the best keyboard and VGA screen, but I already had a Touch Diamond and although TouchFlo3D is good, it doesn’t cover everything that is the hunchbacked beast that is WinMob 6…

So your thoughts/comments would be appreciated!

No...

My mind is leaning to a X1 over the Touch Pro, as the screen is better, even thought the keyboard is a 4 row QWERTY vs the Pro's 5 row.

And the G1 I just wanted for a change of OS - kinda tired of WinMob already!

You selling one?

Had a BB Curve - cool little device, didn't like the device font set for some reason... (Crazy excuse, but I'm sticking to it!!!)

I would go towards the X1, but the G1 is looking cool, just hard to find anywhere in SA selling it.

Nope, don't have one to sell... was just throwing it into the mix :D

Of those 3, I would also choose the X1

Thanks for all the PM's and advice - X1 it is!!!

The G1 is cool, but like you said - what if it breaks?

Mods plz close!

But I must say the G1 was a close 2nd!

The Touch Pro wan't bad, but I thing the X1 compares more to the Touch Pro2!

Good choice on the X1, I would've gone for that too.
I've been a die hard HTC fan for many years, but apart from missing accelerometer, the X1 seems far superior to me.

Does anyone know when the G1 will be available in SA?
I'm dying to try it out so I can decide between this and the X1

the x1 is supposed to have a clumsy interface but i would still have gone for it rather. the resolution makes it worthwhile.
