bbc uk tv does ahve quite good quality stuff, sd and hd. i am mostly looking at good quality streams i can add to the xbmc. i watched the womens wc final on espn3 in hd. damn it looks awsome. you kinda get used to the quality. when i switch to supersport stream it sucks big time watching gibberish which hurts my eyes.

anybody that have hd add-ons for xbmc can pm me or just post it here.

Iplayer (british content) plays nice hd and sd content
Icefilms has a variety, but its on and off
Freecable plays variety of tv network channels
ESPN3 plays good quality sport
Livestream plays bbc news

The others is not that good, but i'm still adding. google them and you will find the plugin

Updates:
A lot of code re-working moving the plugin from the 'google, paste, debug, repeat' formation stages, to now follow best practice structures that will allow easier enhancements in the future.
I have removed all external python library dependencies, and the code will now work with the native python extensions out of the box.
I have managed to quite elegantly capture all the data made visible in the supersport.com webservices directly into the code, which ultimately means that the data displayed for each item in XBMC is a lot more comprehensive and useful.
Finally, is you are using the most recent builds with support for service extensions, then you will have already noticed the monitor informing you of starting/finishing streams. I have added functionality that will now allow you to add an autotune option to upcoming events which, as long as the monitor is running, will switch to the stream as soon as it becomes available.

Future Enhancements:

PVR: I somehow managed to lose all the work done on this a few days ago, but that just allows me to do it re-implement with greater efficiency. As mentioned, this will make use of subprocesses and a local version of rtmpdump to record live streams, schedule recordings for upcoming streams, and download highlight videos. As also mentioned, a stream can be watched and recorded simultaneously and the number of streams that can be recorded is limited only by your bandwidth and processing grunt.

I installed on the 19th, so I will update tonight, flawless install, worked first time.

I havent had much time to play with it, but I have a few questions:

1. Does this only played cached / DOD content on Supersport / DSTV ? I.E: Would I be able to watch live sport with this plugin?
2. Is there some kind of PVR functionality to download / pvr the content that is being streamed? (Edit: I see you are adding this in your updates)
3. Are there any plugins / codecs that could improve image quality? (I have a 4meg line if that helps).

Thanks again for your work, and excuse the noobie questions, I was intrigued at what you have done here.
