Thanks. No more errors popping up.
Will test properly with live stream as soon as one is available .... unfortunately there are no more dates/times attached to those upcoming streams.

They work, just tested one now.

ps. When you go to "Live Streams" press the left button on your remote or keyboard, and change the view mode to "Media Info". Then when you move over the items, they will show the "genre" on the left below the thumbnail, which says "Live now!" or "Coming" which is how you know whether they are live or not.

When i add the ondemand plugin i get the dependencies not met error.
anybody know why its giving me that error

What's the chances of removing the DRM protection?

That kind of stuff, is hard to crack, or tamper with. I have a South African proxy, and I have TOR, so I could watch these shows myself. However, how would I enter proxy settings onto DSTV player? They leave it out for that very reason.

Stevie G: what are the dependencies that are not being met? Check your xbmc.log file for this.

PaulB_ZA: No idea re: the DRM protection. Look, the reality is that must users here will really only want to access the local content such as Carte Blanche and local soapies etc via ondemand, as they will be getting their international series / movies from other sources, so please understand that right now it isn't a priority.

Oh, that dependancy should not even be there. remove the line <import addon="script.module.elementtree" version="1.2.7" /> from addon.xml in the plugin's directory. Will remove this from future releases

So do I need to enable debugging to get the log or does debugging just show me where the log is?

it will show you where the log file is
you must enable debugging under the system settings in xbmc.

That is the theory... but give it a shot and see what happens - the app wont crash, but you will get play errors if its drm

Interesting, will give it a go this evening. Bounce, I have another suggestion. Do you think you could write a Drifta add-on for XBMC? I'd love to be able to watch the Drifta channels through XBMC.
