XBMC Supersport Addon

To those posting log files, it could be worthwhile looking at pastebin. They use it extensively on the official xbmc forums, it keeps the threads much cleaner and easier to follow IMO. Just a suggestion. :)

Hi Stevie,

I cant get Iplayer to work at all, it seems to be IP checking?
which ESPN3 plugin are you using, the two I found dont work at all?

If you have XBMC installed on windows or mac this could work? Or set up a proxy on your router to change you IP to UK for your media pc. But then you won't be able to watch on demand with this addon. Maybe there is a XBMC proxy addon?

Seems a UK vpn (paid for, of course) is the only way to go. From my searching, it seems the makers of the only working iplayer add-on for xbmc are co-operating with the BBC and not by-passing the geolocation restrictions enforced on the iplayer site:

Hey bounce, Supersport now brings up a Live Streaming sub folder, then fails. DSTV On-Demand is also not working. Using your latest update.
 
Guys, it is quite clear that a lot of you are experiencing errors due to the fact that you are using XBMC v10.1 which in turn makes use of Python 2.4. I urge you all to consider downloading and installing a nightly build (Eden - Python 2.7) instead which will ultimately replace the current stable version (DL here: http://mirrors.xbmc.org/nightlies/).

I can assure you, even though they do infer that its only for the "brave", that it is very stable and has many great improvements which I will leave for you to discover.
 
Ya, I have also noticed this... am I correct in saying that it is really only with the Live Feed listing? If this is the case, then it is explained by the extra routine I added which supplements the list items with the date / time of the event. Unfortunately, this isn't made available in the web service where all the other details come from... if only I could make alterations to SS's server side code :/

lol i leave those complicated things to you bounce.The link however works via your browser.I'm yet to test it on xmbc,will give it a go tomorrow
 
Would be great to get all the SA radio station streams via XBMC. I already do that kind of, but that's via STRM files. Would be nice to have an addon that has all the radio stations listed. If intrested, because they are flash streams, I have angry IP scanned the main broadcasting server, and I got links for about 97% of the radio station streams around the country, that can be played in WMP on my PC, and XBMC on my XBOX. I can provide the source IP if needed. Right now Kfm is streaming in beautifully on my xbox. Would love to see a stream like that.
