XBMC Supersport Addon

Mine was working all morning as far as I could tell. Was watching the rugby on telly and streaming the F1 qualifying on the laptop...

It seems certain streams are using the new drm protection that we noticed a few weeks back. The problem is that the plugin will break even if only one of the streams is using the drm - I am updating the Plex addon to check which streams are okay and which are not and then only list the ones that it can play. This should prevent the plugin from breaking completely and if the stream cannot be played it just will not show up in the list.

Since yesterday I've noticed the audio & video are out of synch quite badly - is anyone else suffering this as well?

Is the app still working/ available? I can't seem to find it when looking in XBMC for add-ons?

What happened to the old style plugin where you didn't need a smartcard linked to your account? Has that been done away with - if so i'll have to ask the rents for their smartcard details...

The person who wrote that plugin originally, stopped keeping it up to date. When I took over I wrote in the login part where you need your smartcard details. So for now you will need that.

Does it actually log in to the site with those login details and can monochoice see you're using xbmc/plugin with it?

Yes it does log in though I'm not quite sure what (if any) useragent gets sent with the request so I'm not sure if they can see what browser/app is accessing the site when using XBMC.

Registered on Supersport's site, downloaded the repository and then then XMBC plugin. Added my username and password under settings but for some reason I get a "username and/or password is incorrect" message when I try and connect but I was streaming on my laptop! Strange.
