I see the plugin is broken again now due to one of the streams being protected, however the rest still work. I have fixed this in my Plex Plugin so it will only show streams that it can play - Tinuva will have to fix this in the XBMC plugin though.

If it uses a regular desktop client then yes it should work. I've never used it before, is it just using the linux Plex/HT client?

You need to have a dstv account and have an online account linked to your smartcard, you are required to put these details in before you can use the plugin.

If the plugin isn't showing, then you haven't installed it correctly. The plugin from this thread is just the repository - once you have installed this then you need to install the plugin from that repository.

Tinuva is actually the one who wrote the authentication code, for good reason too otherwise I believe this plugin would have seen it's demise a long time ago.

Multichoice doesn't allow for sharing of accounts but you can watch streams from different locations at the same time while logged in to one account.

Crazy thing is I can watch on my HTPC but when I login on my laptop it says the stream is only for DSTV premium subscribers - even if I login with a premium user's account. Weirdness...
