Hi All, my sisters are planning on purchasing an Xbox360 soon. I just need some advice on which version and games to recommend. They are into RPG's. So which off the following versions would you recommend?

* Xbox 360 Arcade
* Xbox 360 Pro 60GB
* Xbox 360 Elite

Also what are the best RPG's for the Xbox360?

I would go for the Pro. The Elite might be a little overkill. The Arcade has no hard drive, though one can be purchased at a later stage.

As for games, especially RPGs, you're in luck because Fable II came out recently and is one of the best RPGs ever made.

Good luck!

if youre never goin online, go arcade and spend the rest on games. fortunately rpgs are aplenty on the xbox. unfortunately not a lot of them are 'great' but good fun nonetheless.
i recommend: Blue dragon, Lost odyessy and eternal sonata. Fable 2 can be a bid dodgy if ur sister are under age. have fun :D

I recommend the pro, even if you're never going to play online. One of the nice new features is being able to copy a game to HDD. This is very useful if a disk is slightly scratched or if a game has long loading times.

go Pro...you will be using the HDD very soon and the rpgs are quite plenty on it.
Lost Oddysey
Blue Dragon
Fable 2
Infinite Undiscovery...

I think the Arcade is only worthwhile if you’re very strapped for cash. There’s no hard drive, which alone will cost another R1000 to add, and no component cable, although you do get a 256Mb memory card. I’d get the Pro and buy a memory card later if you find yourself needing one (most people probably won’t).

Installing to the hard drive also has the additional benefit of making the console run quieter.

If you’re thinking of buying right away you should try to get hold of the Pro bundle that includes Lego Indiana Jones and Kung-Fu Panda. Even if they’re not the sort of games you’ll play you should be able to sell or trade them. Just keep in mind they come as a single package, so you can’t sell them individually. I have not found anywhere in Cape Town that still has this bundle, but I think Look & Listen branches up north still have some stock.

Yep, pro is the best choice.
Get everything u need the 1st time.

Elite is a bit of overkill - I can afford it, but it's just pointless getting it. (for me anyway)
