Xbox 360 versions

So Jasper 12.1 is better; sorry about the noob question - but why (or rather how) is it better??

Lower voltage, so less heat, and therefore less cooling, which means less fan noise and less chance of failure due to heat.
 
Oh right. The noise from mine does start to get on my nerves after a bit....
