XBox 360 versus PS3

^^ haha alright then, disregard the poll. I never meant it as concrete evidence, just an easy point of reference.

Take the forums for example...A quick scroll down the console threads will tell you which consoles are most played by the MBB community
 
WTF? That was the worst article I've ever read. I'm sorry but wow is all I can say...
 
What a big PS3 infomercial. I have an xbox but I am not pulling any of these ahead, the article started off right by saying "personal taste and budget".

Now, if only there was a version of the Xbox 360 console with a 60gb or 120gb harddrive. Oh well, one can only dream.

Ummm... you can buy a 120GB HDD for the XBOX... :rolleyes:
 
I really can't believe how sensitive some people can get over something as silly as this. Each to their own... You guys need to accept differing views. That's the crux of subjective journalism.

It's not journalism. Don't call it that.

It's marketing. It's an advert. And it doesn't belong on my RSS "tech" section.

crappy article, the PS3 is superior to the xbox360 though ( at least on paper as far as hardware is concerned ).

I mean the xbox 360 has a ATI gpu with 10mb dedicated video memory for crying out loud XD

You can't be subjective if you write under "Staff Writer". Unless your name is Staff and your surname is Writer. And I am not aware that The Times is into "subjective" journalism - their comment and reviews are clearly marked as such in most cases. This article certainly does not measure up to the South African Press Code (http://www.presscouncil.org.za/pages/south-african-press-code.php).

This article reads so much like an advert Sony must have paid for it.

Does anybody know where this article were first published? I can't find it on The Times website.

I've got both the x360 and the PS3.....
And my opinion is: Yes the ps3 is more powerful with more features. But my Xbox sees the most action..


and oh. PS3 does NOT have Gears of War as a title... So that counts in the x360's favor with me.

My wife likes the PS3 for titles like LBP and she really enjoyed Uncharted.

The biggest diff between the 2 (according to me) is the controller.
the Xbox controller is far more superior and ergonomic.
 
WTF is a xbox360 vs ps3 article appearing in 2009. Someone shoot the editor and get a new one, the current one is practically useless.

Seems this article has become an attack on the site...
even though it's 2009 the argument is still raging between owners of the two consoles. Each wanting their's to be the superior machine to ease the thought of all the money they spent.

If there were more consoles on the shelves then I would agree with this statement... But seriously dude! Are you for real?
