OP, I enjoyed your article a lot. I have owned both the consoles you compared now and agree with your points.

I find it so funny when reading the comments section and seeing how fanboys fail to remain objective and verbally attack you for posting an article where you highlighted the strengths and weaknesses of each console as you perceived it. What I don't get is why these fools refuse to consider the advantages of the other console which they don't own and I also wonder why they have to get so defensive and rude when it comes to this topic.

Does the Xbox 360 upscale over the component cables? As the PS3 seems to do a better job of DVD and Divx upscaling then my 360, other then that I agree with you on the article. The consoles are for games and they both do brilliantly.

@Lupus i'm not sure about the xbox 360 upscaling. i have both my consoles attached to the HDTV using HDMI cables and for some reason dvds and AVIs just look a bit better on the 360.
