Xbox Elite vs PS3

I agree. One of the most fun games I've played in a while was the latest Prince of Persia. Fantastic gameplay, but not the best graphics.

Is R299 worth it for Prince of Persia?

truth is im a god of war fan and games of the genre....that tilts me toward ps3......but them i also play fifa alot...or pro evolution...and with xbox live would that not be better...hmmm....

I remember spending months playing Naruto: Rise of a Ninja. A sneaky exclusive that was:D

XBox Live for online play is not free and the last Pro Evo wasn't great either:(

Will buy it. Thanks:)

Um, i'd recommend maybe watching some gameplay trailers first? I guess for R299 it moght not be too bad, but personally the game got real boring and repetitive, real fast. And the "combat" was horrible. Just my 2c.;)

Almost every game supports Live though, and there's a huge online community meaning that you're almost guaranteed lots of players.

PSN is free and also the local FIFA PS3 community is really active.
Some real good players as well, also you can purchase your add-on content in rands from the PSN store. Unfortunately with XBL you have to fake a US/UK address and also some content gets block over here,

Thanks. I will watch a Gametrailers review then:)

PES only launches later, but if the reviews are anything to go by, i think PES will have a hard time beating FIFA this year.

How does it use it more efficiently? Which games?
Game engine optimizations, Increased cell processor utilization, compression, etc.
Uncharted to Uncharted 2. Basically look at each later iteration of a game. If they are better in looks, performance, gameplay, etc, then there was an improvement which means either better use of hardware, software, etc.

but thats not a selling point, its happenning on the 360 and wii, happened on the ps2 etc...

But then that applies to ALL consoles. Look at NES games when the console was launched, and then at games that were developed for the same console, years later. It's a common thing that games get better the longer people develop for the console.

The combat was one of those things I loved. All the different moves, combinations etc. What was horrible about it for you?

Personally, my vote is for the PS3.

BUT

both are good consoles...

If you want an Xbox, check out Dion Wired. 2 weeks ago they had the 120gig Elite for R2999

I didn't mention it was only for the PS3. Just your assumption. ;)
