Thanks to Dohc-WP being so damn slack on the FAQ I need some help

still deciding about HDD (would I be able to get away with it until January on a 256mb MU? It's just that from WIA, a 20gb HDD is like R1100 .......

The xbox 360 uses a straight ethernet cable not a crossover cable but a crossover one might work !

60gb hdd will be coming in soon for R1000, and any lan cable will work for internet on your 360.

That is a bit steep for a 120GB. Get a DS or something, how much is their 512MB MU?

As for live - that sub should be fine - The 360 has an autosensing port so you can use a normal or crossover cable.

only in team based games like cod 4 mp, gears mp, halo mp etc. otherwise most of the time u'll hear guys speaking in weird accents or unidentifiable languages.

They're pretty important! Considering every game is VoIP enabled. You'll be surprised how dependant one gets on them.
