Lo all,

I convinced a mate of mine to get an xbox, went out today to look at Look & Listen, CNA, Musica, Hifi-Corp, (N1 City / Canal Walk) noone seems to have stock of the Pro, let alone the Pro Bundle with a few games that i have heard of.

Anyone spotted the Pro bundle in Cape Town recently ?
 
i think i saw one at cape gate like two weeks ago at the CNA. but PLEASE phone them first, this was a while ago.

there is also a Incredible Corruption there you might try, and a Game, and a Reggies (Toys R Us?). give them all a tinkle and check :)
 
Bugger the big boys. Go find a BT games or something smaller. They'll hopefully have stock.

Aren't the 60gig Pros coming out today at the same price as the 20gigs?
 
yep! dude hold your horses! wait for the 60 gig one! its literally a matter of days!
 
Hmm, just make sure he gets the original proof of purchase with that gumtree one. (and use the 60Gb to negotiate a decent price ;) )

I made the same trip u did to the same shops - a few times.

I just asked the CNA near my house to get one for me, waited a few days and got it for R2999 (The usual price).
CNA have a good return policy, so happy to buy from them.

U can also get one at HiFi Corp, but don't like buying there.

He got it off gumtree in the end, receipt, boxed and all, and he is a happy camper ;)
You'll be seeing him round on the CoD4 maps soon enough ;)
