I only recently got an xbox after not playing games for 20 years.
Destiny 2 is pretty cool!

Also playing Senua hellblade: senuas sacrifice
Playing Elden Ring on and off, but need a break from it from time to time
Finished Star wars

Oddly, the first Ori has been one of the most enjoyable I have played. I am saving the second one for a few weeks time

Nothing odd about that at all - it is an absolutely brilliant game and Ori 2 is just as good, if not better - gameplay, graphics, music, mood, difficulty curve - one of my best games of all time.

I do hope that they release an Ori 3.

FSR 2.0 is an open-source solution available as an API under the MIT license for ease of integration with complete documentation and full C++ and HLSL source code provided via a library. It supports DirectX® 12 and Vulkan® with samples provided for both.

In addition, plug-ins for both Unreal® Engine 4 and 5 are coming soon to make integration as simple as possible for developers that use Unreal. On top of all that, FSR 2.0 is also supported on Xbox and will be available in the Xbox GDK for registered developers to use in their games

I saw a few people moaning about PS5 fps dropping below 60 and in some cases 30 in some games where the Series X was rock solid, this would help that even more. Not sure why Sony went the less powerful route this time, probably to make a PS5 pro.

PS5 is marginally weaker than X, I have seen dropped frames on both Xbox and PS games it all depends on settings the developer used. Sometimes they over spec, normally rectified in patches after. Been following cross covered games on Digital foundry like a hawk as I have both systems and normally shop on where I am gonna play.

That said, overall X games tend to go for higher resolutions.
 
Does anybody know of a way to change the volume in netflix using the netflix app on xbox?
Most of the guides want to change volume on the TV itself. My Soundbar conencts to the TV and changing volume on the TV doesnt help.

On other apps like Kodi etc I can change the volume in the app, which is quite useful.
I was looking at a xbox media remote, but think it will do the same thing, on that note, any recommendations? The wife hates the controllers for media

Sadly Xbox use HDMI ARC to change sound out volume. You can always do what I did, use a all-for-one and on Xbox re-assign the volume keys to the sound-bar.

Bought mine at PnP for just over R200

That looks positive. The problem is I lost the remote for the soundbar, so I dont think I can program the volume keys for it

Just checking...that Allforone...does it somehow connect to the Xbox too? To control Youtube and and Netflix playback for instance?

Kids use our Series S for Netflix and Netflix. Constantly with the controller on the couch and it gets dropped off the couch regularly. Urgh. Would love a remote for video playback.

Yes. It has multiple device support, you program multiple device ie TV/Hi-Fi and so on. In my case I programmed MP3 button as Xbox so when I press MP3 I can navigate the Xbox, pause play and so on.

I just manually re-assigned the volume keys to my Soundbar.

Edit: Must add that "I use to"
Now using the PS5 and its media remote for Netflix & chill as Mrs did not like the All-in-one. It functions the same way re using IR to change the Sound bar's volume.

Just bought myself a Series X. Won’t be able to play until I’ve wrapped up two projects I’m working on, but one thing I’m already so disappointed with is the download speed.

Even wired up to 500Mbps Openserve fibre, this thing mostly downloads at 50-100Mbps with occasional brief periods of 200-300Mbps.

The speed test in the network settings is even slightly over 500Mbps.
