Xbox Series X / S

Can MS just agree to not have CoD on Gamepass but then almost always have it heavily discounted on Games with Gold?

Ok so 120fps is pretty cool, but now I'm tossed up over Dolby Vision or 120fps.

Sony will still have an issue with not being able to have exclusive content, or ensure feature parity (prevent developers from fully utilizing the Series X|S feature set like they do with the PS5)

Microsoft created that monster themself.

COD originally was a 360 Exclusive, and came with limited time & content & what, Sony started to pay more for that right and francize focus shifted over to PlayStation.

Microsoft now wanna fix that focus but cant.

I'm fine with MS being blocked from buying Activision. IF exclusive content and rights are banned altogether for 3rd party publishers. Then it's applied fairly to Sony as well...

Thats why I have a dumb ass TV.

No special features/post processing = no lag :p
On the OLED there feels like there is barely any lag :-). Though I did play a bit of Sleeping Dogs as I played that recently on the ULED and yeah it's odd. Cause the ULED was 60hz and Dolby Vision. So night time scenes which there are a lot looked different between the 2.
On the OLED lights from cars and boats and such looks more natural, on the ULED things looked like they were covered in vaseline like polished up, so the road would shine more (might be DV vs HDR10).

My TV allows me to select DV and the DV sign does pop up when gaming.

But under the Xbox Series X settings it says that there may be issues experienced such as in put lag etc when using DV for gaming (I do not notice any input lag at all), so decided to switch it off and force HDR10.

I don't know if it's just me but I noticed a difference between having the DV setting on vs off (HDR10). Yes there aren't any DV games out there from what I understand but i do notice a difference.

The colours "pop" more on DV than on HDR10 when gaming, that being said I only tested on 1 game.

Using a LG C1 and have been using with DV on since I got it, only decided to switch off because of what was said here regarding DV vs HDR10 and FPS

Yup I could fiddle more and see, but it does look like if I go 120fps it drops DV mainly due to lag apparently.

What do you mean? There are plenty of games that support DV.

Been getting rekt by the last 44 afrikaans speakers on COD since launch, so not gonna lie, very excited to check out BF2042 now that it is on gamepass.
