Ag FFS.
Bought Xbox live gold 12 months from Egifts a couple of days ago but never got to activate it.
Did it now and then tried the upgrade trick. First fishy sign of something wrong was the R15 fee for Gamepass Upgrade. It should have been full price. Was on Gamepass two years ago and it expired long ago.
Anyways I went ahead. And as usual there is no proper communication of the conversion that will take or any warning with details of reduced months during conversion.

Ended up only getting 9 months. Expires April 6th 2024.;Should have been thirteen months (12 +1).
Four months lost out on. Urgh. New changes or did do something wrong?!

I was expecting this, well after the Activision acquisition but I guess this is close enough.. That is why I told my co-worker to do it last month.

Sorry to hear you missed it, but it's still worth it even at full price.

Are my calculations correct, buying 12 x "1 month of gold" will give you 4 months more Ultimate, than buying 1 x "12 month Gold"? Or maybe it is how they are priced (1 month vs 12 month gold price) ?

Could be part of a clause in Sony's COD agreement with ABK, game cannot be on any subscription services and it probably ends after next years COD. So earliest that COD is on Game Pass is during 2025.

Hopefully all the OG, 360 and One games are added to soon and they announce a new Project Gotham Racing or Geometry Wars.

Yes refers to the current and the next CoD (2024) falls under the Paid-for clause to exclude GamePass.

Past COD's can join day 1.
