Sarah Bond is now President of Xbox. Reflecting her impressive credentials as a leader in Microsoft, she will be in charge of Devices, Player & Creator Experiences, Platform Engineering, Strategy, Business Planning, Data & Analytics and Business Development.

Phil Spencer is now above Team Xbox, as President of Microsoft Gaming. In this capacity, he will be in charge of the departments in charge of HR, communications, finance, etc aside from the departments of Microsoft Gaming that are actually related to making games and consoles.

We are still rocking on our xBox 360, have about 40 games that we haven't even started playing yet. Maybe more. Will wait for 2028 when the next Xbox's are released. Same time as the PS6 I believe.

Geez, same here. And currently playing on Series S.
With quite a few titles on Xbox 360 (impulsive purchases during specials) that I haven't even touched yet or never played much... Just a pity the old Xbox 360 controllers have long since been troublesome...with the battery pack not closing properly anymore due to gazillions of times falling on the floor....#$$#%$# kids.

Agree, controllers don't last long. I did buy a new fake one off Takealot some time ago and it is still awesome, really good quality. I bought the USB version as I use it for my gaming rig as well and I love it with Assassin's Creed Mirage. I was going to get myself a reddraggon do Dat to use Mouse+KB for games like far cry and star field on xbox. Guess it won't work because of that change

I have massive issues with that. I am reading 'quality standards for performance, security, and safety' and nothing about them wanting to get rid of cheaters. Slippery slope. We need to oppose crap like this! They want to tell us what we can and cannot do with our hardware. Absolute bull****. If they are able to detect and ban unauthorised hardware, they also have the ability to detect and rather segregate from or ringfence those that want to play a 'level-playfield' game, no?

They don't, that's the issue. This basically blocks everything and allows authorised, rather than allowing everything and blocking unauthorized.

They can't detect unauthorised devices, only authorised devices because specific code would have to be written to detect them. Manufacturer's who want to get onto the authorised list would likely have to be vetted and implement something on their end to allow detection. Which automatically disqualifies manufacturers of cheating devices.

I agree that we need to be cautious about what we agree to, but people have been asking to do something about cheaters and this is what they got...
