Microsoft will most likely sort out and pay a license fee for 1st party games seeing that they make the bulk of GamePass Esp the likes of Fable, Gears of War, and future Call of Duty

The problem is the 3rd party devs that could care less ie: Saints Row and Red faction.. they might go the way of the Dodo for future sales.

Note: if you bought it, it will still be available in the future, the delisting is re new Sales.

hey all. just a quick confirmation: I'm giving my sister and brother-in-law my Xbox One X. I have Xbox Live Gold/Game Pass on my Series X. If I signed into the One and set it as my Home device, then ship it to them, I can share both Xbox Live Gold and Game Pass with them and they can create their own Gamertags/accounts etc. without issue?

This should work as I use this for my setup at home.

Yes, they will be able to play installed games on their own accounts, but will have to log into the "home" account to install new games if I am not mistaken.

So you will have to share the login details as well.

Ah damn. Was hoping they wouldn't need my login if their console is set as my Home console.

On Series consoles this is easy, cause my Wife just turns the Xbox on using my controller to install a game cause the controller is bound to my account. She then use hers to log in and play. <-- no passwords needed.

Dont know if this is possible with Xbox One consoles?

I've been doing some reading and it doesn't look like you need to login into the Home console at all once set. In fact, you can delete the main account, and any additional accounts can still access and download games without issues. Can anyone else confirm?

Just put a pin on the account and leave it on the box. Less headaches that way

Well when my Mrs logs into the system it tells her to subscribe to GamePass when she opens that menu but she can play the games I installed from GamePass.

So I guess millage may vary?
