They'll probably be sold out by the weekend. Avo is the cheapest local seller that I've seen so far

Update on this apparently changed to loading up on 2 years is the Max now as per SA Gamer. Will try find the link on this but hasn't been changed in the official Xbox site

When loading the 12th month Gold vouchers and upgrading to GP Ultimate, what's the shortest wait after which this can be done? Does it have to be 2 days, or has anyone upgraded successfully after say, a few hours?

That you can do immediately. What I meant is after your Game Pass Ultimate finishes, turn off recurring billing and wait a day.

If you've loaded the Gold vouchers already, you can convert immediately to Game Pass without any issue

If you can wait then you should wait. Honestly you're not missing out on much with the lack of true next gen games. The only reason I pulled the trigger is because it was going for 10k on BF, a price we're not likely to see in the next few months.

The games that are optimised are mainly just texture and framerate upgrades, and improved load times thanks to the SSD. But you can tell that they've been held back by the previous gen...

Aah ok, thanks.

My current GPU expires on 2021-01-01, not sure of the exact time it will expire that day, but I'm hoping that as soon as I see my GP has expires, load the Gold vouchers and convert to GPU again.

Only pity now is that as you've mentioned, it's possible that MS has reduced the number of Gold months you can load to 24.

I've just bought three 12month cards, hoping it's still possible to load 3 years' worth.

I suspect the nana claimed the extra free month if you subscribe, making 2 x 13 and not 2 x 12 so could not add the 3 rd key? The original Reddit post warns about this explicitly.

I was told the same. Some SMS thing was not activated. Told them NO. I am not going into a branch to tick/untick a some box. This is 2020. I left it at that. Now, a month later, I can suddenly purchase things. Don't know what they did.

Check if you can load both the Xbox & TV and if you can switch the xbox on.

Was pushing line speed when connected via LAN. My router delivers worse speed over WiFi because it's far away from the lounge, but I can't face trailing a LAN cable all the way to the lounge. Best way to do it would be via the roof, but I'm renting and don't want to risk it. Now I just set a game download and leave it to run overnight.
