I have the exact remote. It operates my JVC amplifier, LG TV, Sharp VHS recorder and Telefunken TV in the bedroom.

Advanced functions are not available on the remote (obviously as those would be device specific), but for basic operation it works well.

Got mine for R200 at Builders - can't seem to get it to work with the old Telefunken TV that I bought it for - will need to fiddle it seems

Transferred a lot of my old VHS tapes to digital recently. It's a great video machine too, so will keep it operational.

You can control your TV through any HDMI CEC compatible device, as long as your TV supports CEC too.

Just bought the one for all contour 8 for r229 at pnp. Works perfectly with my tv and xbox series s. one remote makes my family happyView attachment 966816

If you have an issue exiting Netflix like I do with mine, you can go to "get help - > exit netflix"

Not sure what your point of reference is, but the crisper visuals you're noticing could be a result of the One X patch. AFAIK D3 hasn't received a Series X/S patch yet...

I came from a One S, so no X enhanced, but if this is what I was missing, damn

Anyone got any good recommendations for an external SSD for my xbox series S and old xbox one ?

For External Size > Speed cause its USB 3 limited
Personally I use normal SATA3 SSD's in a USB 3.0 Case for my Pi's

I would say go for something like WD Blue The same priced M.2 would be 250 Gb and on save like 2-5 seconds on loading which is not worth it.

Any should do, as long as it is USB3. Getting decent loading times out of my one WD and one Seagate.

We all know enhanced games will only work off the Expansion card, you can store them on External SSD, not play off them.

Xbox one games work off the drive on both Series S/X no issues.

Yeah noticed that, my old WD USB3 5400 1.5TB I've had since my original one is still going. Yet my 1TB WD that was 3 years newer died, while the old Xbox one just keeps on going and going.

Also using a WD USB3 5400 1TB in an Orico on my Series S... Personally I find no reason to up that to SSD, but people asking for SSD's

I definitely don't have the need to drop R4k+ on the expansion card just yet, so got the WD 1.0TB 2.5" SATA3 SSD - Blue and UGREEN 2.5" USB3.0 HDD Enclosure from TAL.

Will run some benchmark tests on the drive&caddy to see how it performs, otherwise I'll swop the caddy out for a different one.
