Xbox Series X / S

I do recall reading that they wont form part of Xbox game studio's and still be autonomous. Dont know if this is till the deal is complete or for how long. From what I saw it seams that Microsoft did the purchase to "remove" the exclusivity on some of the upcoming games.

Sony was in talks with Bethesda to make Starfield, and other studio's re new IP, PlayStation exclusives. Microsoft bought Zenimax to prevent this.

Don't know the truth behind it or if Microsoft is just spinning this story to help the deal go through. Remember the accusation is not complete so US can still block this going all "Anti-Monopoly" on it. Either way Xbox owners win as Zenimax will be barred from making them exclusives if the deal falls through.

I don't know. The image was posted by an XBox MVP on Facebook. So I stole it and pasted it here. :)

I doubt that would be the case, because it would be equally applicable to Sony...

The version is only playable if you have the disc version and don't apply the patches. This will be something we going to lose when discs are phased out.

Think that is were smart delivery will help, in the future you purchase the game and the best version is downloaded onto the device you are using. That being said, you will have to either have Xbox Game Pass to play the game or buy the game from the Xbox store/marketplace so its linked to your Live account.
